チャラン・ポ・ランタン
もも(唄/ 平成生まれの妹)と
小春(アコーディオン/ 昭和生まれの姉)による姉妹ユニット。
大道芸人の姉とただの高校生だった妹 2人で2009年に結成。
2014年にエイベックスよりメジャーデビュー。
バルカン音楽、シャンソンなどをベースに
あらゆるジャンルの音楽を取り入れた無国籍のサウンドや、
サーカス風の独特な世界観で
日本のみならず海外でも活動の範囲を広げている。

演技・CM・声優・イラスト・執筆
動画編集など活動の範囲は多岐に渡る。
2016年に発売の配信シングル「進め、たまに逃げても」が
TBSドラマ「逃げるは恥だが役に立つ」の
オープニングテーマに起用され、大きな反響を呼ぶ。
2019年7月17日には
メジャーベストアルバム「いい過去どり」を発売。
2020年に入り、5月27日発売の配信シングル「空が晴れたら」を皮切りに
【8週連続"宅録"配信シングルリリース】を敢行。
2020年10月28日にはニューアルバム「こもりうた」を発売。
2021年9月より独立。
9月18日には小春がプロデュースした手頃な値段のボタンアコーディオン
「Bébé Medusa」の予約販売を開始。一晩でボタンアコーディオンを531台売り上げる。
自分たちで会社を経営しながら、自分たちの世界を今後も大きくしてゆく予定。

CHARAN-PO-RANTAN
A two-sisters unit is consisting of Momo (younger sister/vocals) and Koharu (elder sister/accordion).
The band was formed in 2009 by the elder sister, a street performer, and the younger sister, an ordinary high school student.
They have made their major debut in 2014 under production company Avex Trax.
When Koharu was 7 years old, she admired Alegría's accordion playing in Cirque du Soleil and Koharu has asked Santa Claus for an accordion for Christmas.
The day she received it from Santa Claus, her life as an accordion player began.
The band's sound is based on Balkan music and chanson, and incorporates all genres of music, with a unique circus-like worldview.
In addition to the frequent live performances, the band also produces music for movies, dramas, and stages, and his activities range from acting, commercials, voice acting, illustration, writing, and video editing.
The band expanding their activities not only in Japan but also overseas.
【major highlights】
The limited distribution single "Susume tamani nigetemo" was released in 2016.
This popular song was used as the opening theme for the TBS TV drama "The Full-Time Wife Escapist", which caused a great sensation.
A major best album was released on July 17, 2019.
Next album "Sora ga Haretara (When Skies Clear)” was released on May 27, 2020.
Followed by album "Komori Uta (lullaby)“, which was released on October 28, 2020.
In September 2021, CHARAN-PO-RANTAN left the Avex production office and became independent.
The band has established their own production company.
Also in September 2021, Koharu has produced button accordion "Bébé Medusa" and has began selling as pre-orders.
Because of popularity, 530 button accordions were sold in just one night.
While running their own company, they plan to continue to grow their own world.
